Now a days candidates are facing many serious issues in getting recruited for InfoSec Filed..
While going through statistics noticed really shocking things.
Lets first see the recruitment criteria:
1. Candidate must have Global Certification:
Many candidate are fooled by many institutes by providing their own courses and declaring it as global courses. Please dont fall prey to such useless institutes. Candidate are advised to check the authenticity of the course for which they are enrolling.
2. Students should be practically sound:
I have seen many candidates are not able to crack the technical rounds just because they were not taught those subjects. Now this is a common issue seen at many places. For eg: A trainer skips webapp part because he belongs to networking domain. For such trainers SQL-I, BufferOverflow are not a threat and they skip teaching those things.
Its an Humble request to candidates please check the competence of the trainer who is going to teach you. Being an InfoSec candidates you have full rights to go through the CV of trainer.
Few Criteria to be checked before enrolling to InfoSec Courses.
1. Competence of the Trainer
2. Authenticity of the Institute
3. Must be an Accredited Training Center
These things are were easy to check, what you need is a common sense.
Lets come down to the competence check of the trainer...
Check the CV of the Trainer.
Check whether he is listed in Hackers Hall Of Fame.(What you see is what you get).
Never learn from a person who is a trainer through out his life, this is not a class 12th enrollment. The trainer should have hands on experience on the subject he is teaching. He should be a subject matter of that specific domain.
Dont fall prey to low cost, thing twice why are they offering the course so cheap. The after effects is the title of the article. Incompetent trainer will generate incompetent student.
