Position:  Sr. Software Developer.

Experience: Min.5 -7 Years purely on Software Application Development.

Experience in: ASP.NET, C#, C++, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, Web services, .NET, Transact-SQL

DB: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and above.

This position is for those with advanced understanding and quality experience in developing web based eLearning application on Microsoft ASP.NET platform with C# code and having sound knowledge on various programming skills as listed below.

Experience with the following is REQUIRED: 

• STRONG Experience with LMS system/eLearning System.
• Knowledge and experience ofSCORM e-learning standard, SCORM certification will be added advantage
• Knowledge and experience of E-learning tools
• Knowledge and experience developing web-based SCORM conformant training
• Knowledge and experience with authoring languages such as, XML, Actionscript, and CSS
• Knowledge of SCORM Engines
• Knowledge of Moodle Platform

COMMUNICATION SKILLS :

• Spoken English (High Level)

• Written English (HighLevel)

IT SKILLS:

• ASP.NET (Strong Level/Advanced Level)

Create web applications using Microsoft ASP.NET with C# for back end code.

• CSS (Moderate/Intermediate Level):

Clear understanding of CSS rules and standards and be able to understand and use CSS while working in a project team.

• HTML  (Intermediate/Strong Level):

Ability to use HTML effectively and be familiar with and able to use the latest standards in HTML 5 specification. Experience on HTML5 will be an added advantage.

• SQL (Strong Level/Advanced Level):

Ability to create tables, views, stored procedures and functions in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or better.

• Experience of working on DevExpress will be added advantage

• Experience on Visual Studio 2010 will be added advantage

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
The successful Application Developers will perform a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures requirements including but not limited to:

• Create Design Document in coordination with Project Managers
• Write and maintain programming documentation.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Working closely with Business analysts, designers and staff
• Refine data and format final product.
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by developing detailed programming logic and coding the changes.
• Presenting ideas for system improvements
• Test and develop programming modifications.
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
• Analyses performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
• Confer with client/users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs.
• Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
• Analyses client/server based software solutions compatibility with company requirements.
• Reviewing current systems
• Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live
• Preparation of training manuals for users
• Maintaining the systems once they are up and running
