Position: Senior Application Security Engineer
Location: Pune, India or work remotely.
JOB CODE: 231013
Job objectives:
1. Perform manual penetration tests on web applications
2. Perform penetration tests on web applications by leveraging automated canning tools
3. Interpret results from automated scanning tools to remove false positives
4. Write reports for discovered vulnerabilities
5. Learn new security related technologies
6. Manually review code for security vulnerabilities (C/C++, Java, .NET)
7. Use static code analysis tools and then manually investigate results
8. Create small security tools for automated testing purposes (Scripts, C/C++, Java or .NET tools)
9. Write full reports based on findings of security tests
10. Write security articles & whitepapers
11. Perform root-cause analysis on vulnerabilities discovered
Minimum requirements (applicants will be tested for each):
1. Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
2. Fast technical learning abilities.
3. Proficiency in (atleast two) C/C++, .NET, Java, Webscripting.
4. Professional attitude and conduct.
5. Ability to use common security tools
6. A good understanding of secure design, coding and testing principles of security
